MANTEO, N.C. (WNCN) — After the onslaught of storms in the midst of a volatile hurricane season on the coast of North Carolina, a beach house along the Outer Banks has collapsed, according to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Park services. The advisory by the park services division starts on the north end of Rodanthe and extends far south. The reason behind the advisory is due to the possibility of dangerous debris being present in the water, officials said. A debris removal contractor, hired by the property owner, is expected to begin cleanup Friday.
