Baton Rouge police investigate after person hit, killed on interstate

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was killed on Friday, Sept. 20.
According to emergency medical services, the victim was hit on the I-10/I-12 split near Essen Lane around 4 a.m. The East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office was called to the scene.
