BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Beverly Theriot and Lori DeBenedetto-Webb of Second Chance Dog Rescue introduced two adorable Chihuahuas. Scooby is a little shy, but once he gets to know you he'll love being around you and cuddling with you. He's just under 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. DeBenedetto-Webb said he would do best in a home with only adults. Bella is about 7 months old and weighs about six pounds. She was a stray dog found by a rescue in New Orleans. Second Chance brought her in and now she's patiently waiting to be adopted by her "furever" family. She loves other dogs and people. Adoption fees are $350. The fees covers being spayed/neutered, other medical needs and up to six months of heartworm prevention. Both dogs bring so much joy to the staff of Second Chance Dog Rescue. They'll be a wonderful and loving addition to someone's family. This rescue also has other dogs you can check out if you're not interested in Chihuahuas. They normally have adoption events on Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. at the PetSmart on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge. The adoption event won't take place this Sunday because they'll be participating in the All Paws on Deck event. This is an event to raise awareness about pet cancer. It will be held at the Goodwood Library starting at 3 p.m. That event is free and open to the public. Want to adopt a new pet?
