Bakersfield Arts Council previews nearly complete Clean California Art Mural Project

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Caltrans, the city of Bakersfield, and the Arts Council of Kern held a press conference to celebrate the Clean California Art Mural Project.
The event started at 9 a.m. on Thursday at Golden State Highway near Garces Circle celebrating the murals painted on the concrete pillars and walls of the underpass.

A team of Bakersfield artists created murals showcasing the region's natural beauty, featuring depictions of flora and fauna such as the California condor and a majestic mountain lion.

The project aims to beautify public spaces while highlighting California's wildlife and environment.
