PAWNEE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) - One person was killed after severe storms rolled through Oklahoma Thursday night. According to the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office, the victim was found near Pawnee Lake. The city of Pawnee says there is significant damage and asks that residents stay indoors while emergency crews are working in the area. Officials say multiple roads are closed and some powerlines are down. Pawnee Public Schools has canceled classes for Friday, September 20. There is also a shelter set up for anyone who was affected by the storm.
