FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Johnny Appleseed Festival comes back into town on Saturday to kick off the first day of fall with it's 49th celebration. The festival pays homage to the local legend as well as entertains visitors with historical demonstrations, craft vendors and food stands. Johnny Appleseed Festival runs through the weekend, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
