ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) - Three people were deemed safe after a Mercy Flight helicopter made a hard landing at the Canandaigua Airport Thursday night. Deputies in Ontario County said around 8 p.m. the helicopter was returning from a call when it malfunctioned. It made a hard landing at the airport, and all three people inside were able to make it out safely. Several agencies responded including the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, New York State Police, Canandaigua Fire and EMS.
