ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) -- Paws in the Park is coming back to Old Town Alexandria next month. Paws in the Park will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oronoco Bay Park, located at 100 Madison St. Snouts & Stouts hosting dog-friendly block party in Arlington The free event, presented by Amazon, helps benefit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA). There will be live music, vendors, food and beverages, pet costumes and more. AWLA said Well-behaved pets are welcome to join in on the festivities but they must be leashed (no flexi-leashes/retractable leashes). Adoptable animals will also be at the event.
