FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – Farmington police said a suspect is dead and a woman was injured after a shooting in the parking lot of West Main Walmart. Police said the 53-year-old suspect targeted the woman who he had a previous relationship with. Albuquerque woman sentenced for death of 7-month-old son Officers were sent to Walmart just after 12:30 p.m. after reports of gunfire. According to police, the suspect shot the woman in her car before shooting and killing himself. The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police have not named the suspect or victim.
