The Haskell’s wine shop in Woodbury has closed. An online listing for the store at 6445 Lake Road says “Permanently Closed.” The Roundabout, an online Woodbury news site, reported Thursday that a sign taped to the front door of the store states: “We are closed. Thank you for your patronage!” The store employed 12 full-timers and part-time employees, all of whom were offered employment at Haskell’s 11 other metro locations, according to The Roundabout. A source told The Roundabout that rising rent and competition contributed to the decision to close.Related Articles Business | Curio Dance marks 10 years in Stillwater with new space Business | DOC: Several Stillwater prison staff taken to hospital after suspected exposure to synthetic marijuana Business | Hugo woman beaten to death by son over course of ‘hours, if not days,’ prosecutor says Business | Cathy Wurzer and Pat Miles to host conversation on ‘living and dying well’ Business | Luke Stormwater?
