A 35 year old man from Pierre has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. According to the Pierre Police Department, they received a cybertip in April and started an investigation. Earlier this week (Sept. 17, 2024), with the assistance of the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, a search warrant was served on a residence in the 300 Block of North Van Buren Avenue in Pierre. 35-year-old Andrew Dickinson was arrested and taken to the Hughes County Jail. No further information will be released at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
