"I myself as a resident here in the community have still living in an RV behind the church since Hurricane Ida. I do not have one complaint. God has been good to us. We love helping the community. We try to not take from it, but we want to be a blessing," said Eschette. They know that we are here to serve, and they are so grateful and gracious with us and welcoming us and complete strangers into their community," said Ebanks. Eschette emphasizes to those in the parish not to let the hurricane get the best of them, admitting they are stronger when they come together. "Do not give up, you keep going. Do what you can. All you can for yourself as much as you can do what you can to help your neighbor and if everyone does what we can do it will be more than enough with the lord's help," said Eschette.
