A hot evening will turn stormy closer to sunset, as scattered storms develop around Kansas City. Gusty winds and hail may be possible in a few storms before they move east by Midnight. Friday will be a dry, sunny, and hot day with highs in the lower 90s. Get out and enjoy the dry weather Friday night because the rest of the weekend is pretty wet. Scattered drizzle and showers will rain off and on during the day Saturday with overcast skies. Sunday will be a washout with widespread rain, heavy at times. By the end of the weekend most locations should see between 1 and 3 inches of rainfall.
