Skies are mostly clear as we enter the overnight. Temperatures will fall into the 70s before midnight. It won't be quite as cool overnight and fog won't be as much of a problem with a low around 60. Overnight lows fall to around 60 degrees across the area. Temperatures climb into the upper 80s, and almost reaches 90 degrees in Fort Wayne, with a high of 89 degrees on our Friday. In the afternoon, a scattered shower or thunderstorm may be possible, as a weak front pushes through, but does not cool us down for the weekend. The rain that may be seen will have little impact on the drought conditions. These rain chances Friday night will also be combatting the dry air currently in place, meaning some rain showers may not be able to reach the ground until the air is saturated enough. High temperatures reach the upper 80s to even 90s for some in the area.A few scattered showers and storms may be possible Friday night. Our weekend will start off with more hot temperatures and partly cloudy skies. High temperatures reach the upper 80s. We are dry for Saturday, but Sunday may be the start of a few days of rain showers, from multiple weather systems, which is certainly a sight for sore eyes. We're tracking precipitation totals, with confidence on how much we will see, and how much this could quench the drought low at this time. There will be some chances for rain as we approach this weekend and early next week. Falling temperatures and the best chance of showers will come Monday with highs in the upper 70s. Temperatures will stay in the 70s closer to normal/average temperatures for late September. We'll see a chance of showers through the middle of next week and temperatures will stay cooler through the end of next week.
