In the afternoon, a scattered shower or thunderstorm may be possible, as a weak front pushes through, but does not cool us down for the weekend. The rain that may be seen will have little impact on the drought conditions. These rain chances Friday night will also be combatting the dry air currently in place, meaning some rain showers may not be able to reach the ground until the air is saturated enough.
