    NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A South Carolina man was arrested after a deputy smelled a strong order coming from a vehicle, says the sheriff’s office. A Newberry County deputy was patrolling SC Highway 34 near I-26 when he stopped a vehicle for speeding. When he approached the car, he noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw drug paraphernalia, says the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was detained and the vehicle was searched. During the search trafficking quantities of cocaine, scales, and firearms, along with an extended magazine was found, along with a quantity of cash money, say law enforcement. Russell James Inscho, 37, of Chappells, S.C. was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a weapon during a crime classified as violent, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and speeding.  He was taken to the Newberry County Detention Center where he awaits bond.
