Sumter Police asking for public’s help finding man who was reported as missing

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police is asking for the public’s help finding a man who was reported as missing, say officers.
Officers say 65-year-old Anderson Harrington Jr., who is a resident of a North Main Street residential care facility, was reported as missing on Thursday, Sept. 19, after leaving on Wednesday, Sept. 18, and not returning.
He is described as 6 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 130 lbs., and was last seen at about 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Additionally, he was wearing a burgundy sweatshirt and either gray shorts or pants.
Investigators say Harrington has walked away in the past and has several medical conditions that require medication.
