RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say one person is dead after an accident on Wednesday, September 18. Officials say around 7:30 a.m. in the morning the driver of a 2019 Kia SUV ran off of Kelly Mill Road and went down an embankment before hitting a tree. Troopers say the driver was taken to the hospital where they died from their injuries. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
