UPDATE: Crashes on East Platte Avenue cleared

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs said as of 10:30 a.m. the crashes at East Platte Avenue and North Murray Boulevard have been removed and all lanes are back open.

The City of Colorado Springs said eastbound East Platte Avenue lanes are blocked due to two crashes in the early morning hours of Thursday, Sept. 19.
According to Colorado Springs Traffic's posts on X (formerly known as Twitter), a little after 7 a.m., a crash at E. Platte Ave. just east of North Murray Boulevard blocked eastbound E. Platte Ave.
At around 7:15 a.m., a second crash on E. Platte Ave. between N. Murray Blvd. and Wooten Road blocked the right lane of eastbound traffic.
The City said emergency vehicles are at the scene and blocking the left lane of eastbound E. Platte Ave. Westbound traffic on Platte remained open but eastbound was blocked as of around 7:30 a.m.
