NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Grab some hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, and a fuzzy blanket because it's almost time for the biggest holiday party. Hallmark is celebrating 15 years of joy with Countdown to Christmas, which begins on the Hallmark Channel on October 18. The hard-working elves loaded the schedule with 47 new, original movies on the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, and Hallmark+. New movies will air on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel, and every Thursday at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Mystery — except during Thanksgiving week when the movie will air on Wednesday. "The Very Merry Holiday Collection" has nearly 600 hours of romance, family, humor, and heart. Living experiences replacing the streaming of Netflix shows On Hallmark+, sleuths who like murder mysteries can enjoy "Mistletoe Murders," which is based on the Audible audio series that follows a small-town shop owner with a secret. On the other hand, people can enjoy "Holidazed," which focuses on the challenges of family celebrations in a heartwarming and hilarious way. Hallmark is also debuting its first reality competition show called "Finding Mr. Christmas," and the winner will make his debut in "Happy Howlidays." "Ready, Set, Glow!" with Wes Brown showcases spectacular holiday lights displays, along with the stories and people behind them. Thrillers for the season include "The Christmas Quest," "Jingle Bell Run," "The Finnish Line," and "The Christmas Charade." Santa always plays a role, and he's featured in "Santa Tell Me," "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story," and "The Santa Class." And there are so many more movies and shows.
