Alderman, former police officer accused of domestic abuse, child endangerment

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a former French Settlement Police officer and current alderman for the Village of Port Vincent.
According to information from LPSO, there was a domestic abuse complaint with a child present in Denham Springs on Saturday, Sept. 14. Ascension Parish law enforcement arrested Kolby Frederick, 29, later that day on a charge of domestic abuse - child endangerment.
He was later transported to the Livingston Parish Detention Center and bonded on Monday, Sept. 16, according to LPSO.
That day, Frederick was accused of violating a temporary restraining order. LPSO said he was arrested again on Wednesday, Sept. 18, after turning himself in.
