To receive a free flu shot, organizers say residents must be 18 or older and vaccinations will be given on a first come first serve basis. The dates and times of the free vaccination clinics are as follows: Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at California State University Bakersfield Parking Lot H - Enter campus on Camino Media and Roadrunner Drive Monday, Sept. 23 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Greenfield Family Resource Center at 5400 Monitor Street Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Memorial Hospital at 420 34th Street Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at Greenfield Family Resource Center 5400 Monitor Street Thursday, Sept. 26 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Westside Family Fellowship at 2150 Palm Avenue Thursday, Sept. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Casa Hernandez 200 S Albany Street Monday, Sept. 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Mercy Hospital Downtown at 2215 Truxtun Avenue Officials with Dignity Health advise if you suspect you may have COVID-19 to not attend the vaccination clinic and the vaccine will only be administered to adults 18 years and older.
