FREDERICK, Md. (DC News Now) -- Maryland State Police (MSP) said a pedestrian died after they were hit by a vehicle on Interstate 70 in Frederick County on Thursday morning. Around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 19, troopers were called to I-70 East, near mile marker 61 for a crash involving a pedestrian. Police said the person died at the scene. Their name has not been released at this time. Shots fired, student robbed while standing at bus stop in Prince George’s County, police say There were no reported injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by MSP. As of Thursday morning, two lanes on the interstate were blocked off as police continued their investigation.
