ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man accused of being involved in multiple burglary cases, including one where suspects smashed a hole in a wall to gain entry to a business, was arrested by the Albuquerque Police Department, according to court documents. Justin Duffy, 41, is accused of burglarizing The Hype ABQ Nutrition located at 4501 4th St. NW APT D, which occurred sometime between Sept. 13 and 14, court documents state. The owner of Hype ABQ Nutrition said $200 was taken from the cash register, and she was left to repair a gaping hole in the wall that she said was made by someone using a sledgehammer. APD’s Felony Apprehension Support Team (FAST) and Burglary detectives got an arrest warrant for Duffy and learned that he had several other outstanding felony warrants for the following charges: Four burglary charges Three conspiracy charges One aggravated assault charge Duffy was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on Wednesday.
