BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) - One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition after a shooting on Coursey Boulevard, according to emergency medical officials. EMS said they got the call around 6:35 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. The Baton Rouge Police Department said it was an armed robbery and the suspect remains at large. Law enforcement, crime scene tape and vehicles belonging to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office and BRPD were observed at the scene.
