AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A man was sentenced Sept. 9 in connection with an August 2023 southeast Austin shooting death. According to Travis County court documents, 62-year-old Jorge Flores-Duran was convicted of murder and sentenced to serve 25 years in state prison. RELATED: 60-year-old arrested in deadly southeast Austin shooting Documents said he pleaded guilty to the charge related to the Aug. 8, 2023, death of 54-year-old Isaias Martinez. Toward his sentence, Flores-Duran received a jail credit of 398 days.
