STOUGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Norfolk County District Attorney is adding to his lineup of prosecutors ahead of the second Karen Read murder trial. Longtime attorney Hank Brennan will lead the prosecution team. The DA appointed Brennan as “special assistant district attorney” for the purposes of Read’s case. Brennan is known for working on infamous Boston mobster Whitey Bulger’s defense team. He replaces Adam Lally as the lead prosecutor, but Lally will be part of Brennan’s team.
