KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting outside a gas station on the city's east side. Officers said the shooting happened just before midnight, Wednesday night, at 31st Street and Brooklyn Avenue, near 71 Highway. KCPD investigating double homicide in northeast Kansas City When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man shot in the parking lot. Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Investigators said an argument took place in the parking lot before the victim was shot.
