Known for her mellow demeanor, Hoku has been fostered by Simone for the past year and a half as they seek a permanent family for her. In a creative effort to help Hoku find her new home, Simone entered her into the Maui Humane Society's 2025 calendar contest, hoping that exposure will attract potential adopters. ‘Very handsome, very demure’ Dobby wants to join your family Hoku enjoys leisurely evening walks, taking her time to explore her surroundings. She knows basic commands like sit, paw, and down, and has a particular fondness for food. Described as low maintenance, Hoku is content to nap and keep her companions company.
