LAURINBURG, N.C. – The search continues for the man who shot and killed a Waffle House worker.
It happened Friday night in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Police say the customer got angry and verbally abusive toward employees while he was waiting for his food. Then, the customer walked out to his car after he got his food, turned around and fired two shots and drove off.
Burlie Locklear, 18, died at the hospital from his injuries. His girlfriend, who also works at that Waffle House, says they were the only employees there.
Police are looking for Florwer Lizano in connection to Locklear’s murder.
A current Waffle House employee said the suspect had been to that restaurant before.
