ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — All Williamson schools were briefly put on lockout Wednesday, after a maintenance worker said they heard shots fired behind Williamson High School.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, investigators found a person target shooting on their own property east of the school within a half hour of the lockout call.
Wayne county law enforcement were called to Williamson HS after a maintenance worker reported hearing shots fired behind the school. The school was immediately put into lockout. Police said no students were in danger.
