ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County announced the property tax mill rate is set to decrease for 2024. The mill rate is the number used in conjunction with the assessed value of a property. Bernalillo County says changes will be reflected on tax bills sent in November 2024. "The Assessor's Office staff has been working diligently to make sure that every property is assessed fairly and equitably," Bernalillo County Assessor Damian Lara said in a release.
