Man arrested after teen shot, killed in Greensboro on Godwin Court, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A suspect was arrested on Wednesday after a fatal shooting in Greensboro earlier this year, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.
At around 9:31 p.m. on Jan. 31, police, the Greensboro Fire Department and Guilford County EMS came to Godwin Court after getting a report of a shooting.

At the scene, police found the victim, 19-year-old Jalin Nisean Williams who died as a result of their injuries at the scene.
On Wednesday, detectives with the Greensboro Police Department arrested Phillip Kenyarda Lytch, 22, in connection to the death of Williams.
Lytch is charged with one count of first-degree murder and is in the Guilford County Jail with no bond.
