28-Year-Old Man Dead, 68-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Collision near West Amarillo Road AMARILLO, TX (September 18, 2024) – Andrew Spring was killed Tuesday morning, and a woman was hurt in motorcycle vs. SUV crash on Soncy Road. Authorities arrived to the area around 10:30 a.m., near West Amarillo Boulevard on September 10th. According to reports, a 68-year-old woman driving a 2022 Mazda 9 was traveling south on Soncy Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto West Amarillo Boulevard. During the turn, she collided with a northbound 2024 CF Moto sport motorcycle, ridden by 28-year-old Spring. The motorcycle hit the passenger side of the SUV, causing Spring to be ejected from his bike onto the roadway.
