28-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near Camino Aventura DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (September 18, 2024) – Adrian Mendez Ibarra died early Saturday morning, in a two-car crash at the 15600 block of Palm Drive. Dispatchers received calls in the area around 4:00 a.m., just north of Camino Aventura. Investigators report that a northbound vehicle veered into oncoming traffic for reasons still under investigation. This led to a head-on collision with another vehicle in the southbound lanes. First responders pronounced the northbound driver dead at the scene, later identified by the coroner’s office as 28-year-old Ibarra.
