ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Lollypop Farm is hosting a free cat day Thursday. All cats ages six and under will have their adoption fees waived, while kittens will have half off their adoption fee. Lollypop says it has several dozen cats ready for adoption and hundreds more in their care. "We're getting a little low on space, so this is just a really great way to bring out all the cat lovers and try to get some of these friends adopted," Lollypop Farms Communication Specialist Lindsay Brewer said, "because there are so many more in our community that need our help." Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Lollypop's main shelter in Fairport and the Greece mall location. Adoptions begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. or when the line reaches capacity.
