(KRON) -- Firefighters are responding to a structure fire in a multi-story residential building Wednesday morning, according to the Oakland Fire Department. The building is located on the 1300 block of 83rd Avenue. Suspects involved in violent San Jose machete attack arrested The second floor of the building is fully engulfed in flames, according to fire officials. A second alarm has been sounded for the fire as of around 9:44 a.m. The incident was brought under control just before 10 a.m., according to Oakland FD. The structure was vacant at the time the fire occurred, according to OFD. There were no reports of any injuries or displacements. Crews were able to contain the fire to the building of origin. The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials said.
