JACKSON COUNTY (KSNT) - First responders are at the scene of a crash north of Mayetta where one person is confirmed dead. Emergency workers, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) are at the scene of a crash at 190th Road and Highway 75 on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Law enforcement at the scene told a 27 News reporter one person is dead in the crash while another was transported from the scene in a helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment.
