Richmond to hold public meeting on Cherokee Road safety project

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Department of Public Works (DPW) is hosting a public meeting to discuss the Cherokee Road Traffic Safety Improvements Project.
According to the department, on Monday, Sept. 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., community members will be able to discuss conceptual roadway design options for the Cherokee Road Traffic Safety Improvements Project -- which aims to help prevent runoffs and improve the roadway for pedestrians.
