COVINGTON, La. (WGNO) — A juvenile is being questioned in connection to a threat made toward a St. Tammany Parish area school. On Wednesday, Sept. 18, the Covington Police Department alerted parents and students that there was a police presence on campus after a threat of violence was made toward Coving High School via social media. Jefferson Parish deputies investigate fatal deputy-involved shooting in Marrero Officers said the person has been taken in for questioning and ensured police will stay on the campus through out the day as a precautionary measure. "Please be assured that we are taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of everyone at Covington High School.
