MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Penny Hardaway, Memphis Tigers men's basketball head coach, announced two new team staff members on Wednesday. Nolan Smith and Mike Davis will both be joining the men's basketball team as assistant coaches for the 2024-2025 season. Smith is a former All-American, national champion, and NBA Draft pick. Smith was a staff member on the University of Louisville men’s basketball team. “He brings a championship mindset to our team after not only having won a national championship as a player, but also by learning from one of the all-time greats in Mike Krzyzewski," Hardaway said. He will serve our program in the office, on campus, and in the community. We are happy to have Mike and his family in Memphis,” Hardaway said.
