HUSKER FOOTBALL: No. 22 Nebraska Prepares for Talented No. 24 Illinois Ballclub The rare Friday night home game for the 22nd ranked Nebraska Football team is only two days away as 24th ranked Illinois will come to town. Offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield said after practice Tuesday the Illinois defense might look a little different compared to last season. “I think they’re very talented. They’ve got a lot of guys on the back end that have played a lot of football.Their linebackers have played a lot of football. They’ve got a very physical and lengthy front five that they play with, so it’s going to be tough to move the line of scrimmage, so we’ve got to be ready for a fist fight on Friday night,” Satterfield said. Husker Defensive coordinator Tony White says Illinois’ quarterback Luke Altmeyer will be tough to deal with. “He’s playing with a lot of confidence right now. He’s not really panicked. He goes out there and he sees he is operating at a high level. He will be a challenge to deal with,”  White said after Tuesday’s practice. Nebraska and Illinois kickoff Friday at 7pm on Fox. No. 5 Nebraska Volleyball Prepares for Tough Two-Match Stretch This Week A final four-like stretch of matches this week for the 5th-ranked Nebraska volleyball team, as the Huskers host No. 2 Stanford Wednesday night and play at No. 4 Louisville on Sunday.
