WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WFRV) - Police in southern Wisconsin say two people were arrested following an armed robbery at a local grocery store. According to a release from the Wauwatosa Police Department, the incident at a local grocery store began as a theft but then quickly escalated into an armed robbery. Fond du Lac Police Department warning of “Sergeant Johnson” scam With limited leads, Officials say the Wauwatosa Police Department's Investigative Division used technology and their expertise to identify a 57-year-old and a 48-year-old as the suspects in this incident. Police were able to track down the suspects, who are both from Milwaukee, and arrest them during a second theft attempt. The 57-year-old and the 48-year-old have both reportedly been charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for their roles in the incident.
