BRIDGEPORT, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in southwest Wisconsin say one man was arrested on Monday during a traffic stop after deputies found him to be in possession of methamphetamine. According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office, a K9 unit initiated a traffic stop on US Highway 18 in the Township of Bridgeport. Wisconsin woman seriously injured in DUI crash at notorious intersection; safety improvements set for 2025 During the stop, officials reported that K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances inside the vehicle. Deputies say a search was then conducted resulting in the finding of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. The driver of the vehicle, 42-year-old Christopher Sharlow from Beloit, was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail where he is being held on charges of possession of methamphetamine and operating a moto vehicle with a revoked driver's license.
