15YearOld Charged After Making Alleged School Threat In Caldwell County

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. – The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office announced that a 15-year-old student at West Caldwell High School has been charged after making threats, according to a news release.
The release states that on Friday, September 13, multiple threats were made towards schools in Caldwell County, including West Caldwell High School.
After an investigation by detectives and the school’s resource officer, the threat was traced to a 15-year-old student.
The student is being charged with making a false report concerning mass violence on educational property.
