METAIRIE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Following a four-touchdown game Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was named the Week 2 NFC Offensive Player of the Week. It's the third time Kamara has won the NFC Offensive Player of the Week title and the first time a Saints player has won the award since Taysom Hill did back in 2022. Sunday, Kamara looked like vintage Kamara, rushing for 115 yards on 20 carries and three touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. The 2017 draft pick is ranked first in the NFL in total touchdowns with five, rushing touchdowns with four, and yards from scrimmage with 290 yards. Sunday was the 12th time Kamara tallied at least one receiving touchdown and one touchdown in a game. Sunday was also the most touchdowns Kamara has had in a game since he scored six against the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day in 2020.
