BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Arvin High School Folklorico dancers, Zenia Sanchez and Brian Cisneros, performed on 17 News at Sunrise in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Arvin High School dance instructor, Brenda Ruiz, and her folklorico dance program will be performing a variety of colorful dances at the 2024 Kern County Fair on Sept. 29. The group will be performing at the K.C. Lane Stage at 8:30 p.m. Dinosaurs, stingrays, sea lions, oh my!: What’s new at the 2024 Kern County Fair Folklorico encompasses dances from different states and regions in Mexico.
