COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A 31-year-old man arrested Tuesday in connection to a shooting on Ohio State University's campus appeared in Franklin County court Wednesday on criminal charges throughout the summer. Richard Patridge was arrested at the Lennox Town Center in connection to a shooting Monday evening near the intersection of John Herrick Drive and Olentangy River Road. Columbus police have been searching for Patridge since Sept. 4 after he was accused of kidnapping a woman outside of Bexley. Man dead after being hit in north Columbus by stolen car During his arraignment hearing in Franklin County Municipal Court, Patridge received more than $2 million in bonds combined for five criminal cases that were heard simultaneously on Wednesday. He is facing three separate felonious assault charges from July 20, Aug. 21, and from Monday's shooting. Patridge also is facing a charge of eluding an officer on Aug. 27 and the Sept. 3 abduction near Bexley. Patridge has been handed multiple bond conditions, such as not owning weapons and staying away from potential witnesses. He is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Sept. 27. He allegedly shot a man in the upper leg during an altercation on Monday. The victim was last reported in stable condition. Patridge and the shooting victim are both members of the homeless community, according to Ohio State University Campus Police.
