The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5... Good morning! If you liked the weather yesterday, today will be a carbon copy of that! We had our seventh day in a row with highs in the 80s and its looking like we will hit that mark this afternoon. For today, there has been some patchy fog developing once again along the bay and lakeshore, but should burn off quickly after sunrise. Plentiful sunshine and comfy conditions with high temperatures away from the water in the low to mid 80s. Cooler lakeside with temperatures in the mid 70s courtesy of a southeast wind. Overnight we will see clear skies and low temperatures in the lower to middle 50s. More patchy fog is expected and could be slightly more widespread then this morning. Thursday will be another dry day for the daytime hours, but we should see a slight up tick in cloud coverage from an approaching storm system. This should not impact temperatures much as I'm still expecting the 80s away from the water. Our next chance for some much needed rainfall looks to arrive Thursday night into Friday morning as a broken line of scattered showers and a few storms move across the area. Severe threat is low, but a quick heavier downpour is the main concern. Last weeks drought monitor reported abnormally dry conditions across parts of NE WI, as we are running an inch and half below average. This rain chance moves out during the morning hours Friday and over to plentiful sunshine for Friday afternoon. Warm and muggy afternoon with highs in the low 80s. Next chance for rain after that will be multi day rain event beginning Sunday Night into Monday and Tuesday. Overall looking at a dry weekend.
