Fresno State hosts first blood drive of the semester

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The first blood drive of the semester kicked off at Fresno State on Tuesday -and donors had the chance to enter a giveaway.
According to officials, Tuesday's blood drive was held from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Donations benefitting the Central California Blood Center were taken in the Resnick Student Union and in mobile units set up in the Memorial Gardens and the Free Speech Area.
Tuesday's donors were able to enjoy free Dutch Bros drinks from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the chance to enter a giveaway for a pair of Airpod Pros.
Those who did not make it to the blood drive on Tuesday can still go to the next blood drives which will be hosted on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Officials say donors at the Thursday blood drive will also have the chance to enter a giveaway to win a pair of Airpod Pros.
