(KRON) -- Police are asking for the community's assistance in an investigation of two armed robberies that happened last week in Oakland, the Oakland Police Department announced in a news release. The two robberies happened on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11. The vehicle (pictured below) is believed to be connected to the two robberies, according to OPD. It is described as a newer model, dark gray Dodge Charger sedan. The Dodge has four doors with a spoiler and black aftermarket rims. The first armed robbery happened on Tuesday, Sept. 10. It happened around 10:45 a.m. on the 3500 block of MacArthur Boulevard. OPD did not release any other details about this incident. The second armed robbery happened the next day around 10 a.m. near East 12th Street and 51st Avenue. According to OPD, an armed unknown suspect entered the back of the delivery van as two other suspects were taking items from the vehicle. OPD said it believes the two robberies are connected. The department says a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for the crimes.
